Iâve had a lovely day, thank you. I took my mum clothes shopping, sheâs lost over 5 stone now and is able to enjoy having more choice of things that are available to her. We then went for a carvery for dinner, I always get the turkey, itâs delicious

By the way, the archaic word "ruth" does mean pity or compassion. It's one of those words which is no longer used though the -less word is. Another one is "reck" = care or concern.
The name Ruth is unrelated and is a Hebrew word.
Ages ago I posted about an American man who had made hoax phone calls which resulted in an innocent man being shot dead by police.

It is snowing here atm - not settling.....yet
We have two deliveries expected today so hopefully the weather wonât cause any problems with them.
70k for fake pictures seems a lot but I guess they are very famous fakes

Although there were 5 fairy pictures, the auction is selling about a dozen items, some black and white ones and some hand coloured ones. The items are being auctioned individually with some being in the low hundreds and others in the thousands.

Weather similar to Yogi's though it's steady drizzle now. Another day of Westminster awaits - people telling you black is white. It'd be funny if it all wasn't so serious.

I got a strange phone call a few minutes ago from someone with an Asian accent. He said something about UK postal services. The call didn't last more than a few seconds until he ended it. I don't know what he was intending to do and don't know if it was some sort of scam. From time to time I get emails about postal deliveries which have links which I know are viruses but a phone call 
Exciting course tomorrow morning for me, an accountancy update one. In recent years it's been a half-morning or half-afternoon but this time it's nost of the morning. It's a course that I'm expected to attend as part of the required CPD (continuing professional development) but I'm not expecting anything of significant interest for me.
