Forecast to be a day of sunshine and heavy showers here.
I didn't spot it until too late but a 1930 western called "The Big Trail" is on Talking Pictures. It's being repeated Sunday week at 6 in the morning. It's an early big scale talkie western which was directed by Raoul Walsh, a notable American film director who wore an eye patch for most of his career following an accident where he lost an eye. The significance of this film is that it was the first significant film of John Wayne. Also in the cast is Tyrone Power senior, father of the famous actor of the same name.

Back from my M&S shopping before the heavy showers set in - it now looks very dark out there.
I thought I'd treat myself having done the huge job (though the new accountant looks as if he'll be coming back to me with questions). So I've got a couple of apple frangipane tart slices for my lunchtime puddings this weekend. For tea I've got a couple of M&S muffins, one is a chocolate orange one (the colour of which makes me think of Halloween ) and the other one is a Christmas chocolate one which has a chocolate brown holly leaf with three llittle red berries

Moonie, apart from some showers here, the weather hasn't been too bad and isn't that cold so better than yours. I hope you have a good evening watching the Asian Champions League final in Tehran. There the final is over two legs and this is the second - Persepolis, the Iranian side, has to overcome a 2 goal deficit from the first leg in Japan. The match is getting into the news as some Iranian women have been allowed into the stadium to watch, and that's quite a change as for years they've been refused entry where it's been men playing.
