Good afternoon quick hello from rural Suffolk, where I’m on my friends & family tour I’m having a lovely, lovely time you can’t beat a good catch up and some quality time with people that you love

hope you’re all well and having a good start to the week

I’m glad you are having such a lovely time.

The light showers were actually persistent rain. It was raining when I was out and about but I got parked close to the shops so it wasn’t too bad.

Velvet, House of Bruar have some lovely things

I can’t watch Sturgeon - I’d end up throwing things at my TV but hubby watched and said Andrew Neil gave her a hard time

Goodnight and sweet dreams, Ros

Hug for any night owls

Good morning everyone

Rain and breeze forecast.

Well done Summer on your Santa deliveries

Tiddler day, today.

Have a good day, all.

Good morning everyone. I saw a clip of the Andrew Neil interview with Nicola Sturgeon, she certainly looked very crestfallen by then as he gave her some pertinent facts about her government.

Enjoy your day everyone

 Good to hear

Good afternoon Clan Buddies

I hope you are ok and having a good day

Rather nice day here. Not cold. A little sunshine and no breeze to speak of earlier

Shopped a little. Posted a couple of cards. Been up the park to feed the the coots, moorhens, ducks and geese. Most look in good health, I am pleased to say πŸ™‚

We watch episodes of television series.

The word "episode" comes from the Ancient Greek word αΌΟ€Ξ΅ΞΉΟƒΟŒΞ΄ΞΉΞΏΞ½ (epeisΓ³dion). Classic Greek tragedies have a structure to them. After the introduction and once the characters are introduced, the story is told in a number of episodes and between each episode is a choral interlude.

The word "television" is a mix of Ancient Greek τῆλΡ (tΓ¨le), meaning 'far' and Latin visio, meaning 'sight'.

The word "series" is straight from Latin meaning a row or chain.

So you know more Ancient Greek and Latin than you realise

Thanks everyone, I had a good day with the tiddlers.

BB was disappointed that it wasn’t a sleepover - good to know he enjoys staying with us.

Moonie, glad to hear you have been up at the pond

Pleased you are having such a good time, Summer.

El, I need to check out Tom Tiddler’s Ground  and the song that Velvet mentioned

Off to watch a programme about Tutankhamen, goodnight and sweet dreams, Ros and Velvet.

Hugs for the night owls

I can’t keep away Yogi because I like to make sure the other wildlife is okay

Good morning everyone

Although there's bits of blue sky here, it's mainly cloudy and some more rain is forecast for a time.

Yogi, I'm glad you had a good day with the tiddlers

Re Tutankhamen very indirectly. I started watching the Tom Cruise film "The Mummy" and gave up after a time as it was appallingly bad. Tom Cruise got the "Worst Actor" Golden Raspberry award for that film

I hope everyone has a good day

Moonie, it's been a dry morning here but some rain is on the way. I hope you do get an opportunity to wander down the road

Saw a client this morning. He's what I would call an artisan as although he does carpentry and painting, he's involved with art projects. For instance he was involved with the constructions of the banners which are seen in this clip about a minute in:

El, I have just wandered down and back and I am relatively dry. Just very light drizzle now

Yogi, the 1999 film The Mummy (Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz) is a masterpiece compared to the 2017 Tom Cruise film I was referring to, not that that's much of a recommendation There's no connection between the two films other than the title.

I haven’t seen that version either.

There was the 1959 film, The Mummy with Christopher Lee too El

 I have seen that one.
