Cheltenham Town football match this afternoon postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. They were away to Grimsby. I think if it had been in Cheltenham it would have had to be postponed.

Still raining here though not as heavy as it had been. My local weather site shows that it's already the wettest day of the year - little surprise.

Yogi, I hope you don't get any reaction from the flu jab today  Other than a slightly achy shoulder muscle for a few hours in the evening, that was it for me.

Doctor decided to give me the pneumococcal jab too and warned I might have two sore arms but, so far, they feel fine

At least the pneumococcal jab is a one-off rather than annual like the flu one

Using my psychic powers you had the flu jab in your left arm and the pneumococcal jab in your right arm

Apparently flu jabs seem to be done on the left arm as standard practice

I hope you don't experience any discomfort with sore arms

The other way round

I’m right handed and the doc said the pneumococcal one can be the sorest so she did it in my left arm.

I last had the pneumococcal one ten years ago so it’ll be a while till I have it again.

Raining here, could get an inch over the next few hours. Next few days forecast to be dry, but then it looks as if it will go back to being unsettled for weeks.

Good morning everyone it's still a bit windy but I seem to have been in a bit of a calm spot. My grandson popped in and told me there were trees down all over the place and heavy flooding in many places. Hope everyone is safe and well.

Enjoy your day everyone

Sounds like you’ve had the worst of the weather. Stay safe if you need to go out today.

Good morning everyone

It has rained overnight but brighter weather is forecast.

I’ve been awake since 5am - let’s hope my body clock catches up quickly with the clocks going back.

The arm where I had the pneumococcal jab is aching a little this morning but the flu one is fine.

Have a good day, all

Good morning everyone

For a change, it's sunny here though a frosty start.

Ros, I'm glad you had a good birthday and liked my music clips

Squiggle, I hope the flooding and fallen trees don't cause problems for you and family

Yogi, I hope the ache goes quickly in your left arm and that your body clock adapts quickly to the clocks going back

I hope everyone has a good day

Long- lost artwork hung over an elderly woman's hotplate sold at auction for ₮24m:

Clip showing the artwork:

I just heard about that on the radio El

That artwork is about 200 years before artists such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raphael were painting. It may be small but in terms af the history of art, it's big.

there must be one of those around somewhere! are they dressing up? You’re going to have a great time!

I bought them a singing skeleton last year

Yes, they’ll dress up and go round the neighbours with DiL.

BB wanted to be a “scary bridge”  I wished DiL good luck with making  that costume.
