A sunny day here

Pavlovas were named after Anna Pavlova, the Russian ballet dancer. They were named in honour to her after a visit to Australia and New Zealand.

I’m happy to report, I slept well last night.

The weather is wild atm, with heavy rain and strong winds.

Heading to Costco at some point today, to restock my freezers.

I knew that yummy Pavlovas were named after Anna Pavlova, El - thanks to my ballet dancing youth.

I doubt if Anna Pavlova ate lots of Pavlovas being  a ballet dancer who continued dancing until she died.

The third series of Victoria starts tonight. The series covers the period from early 1848 to mid 1851.

Successful trip to Costco. Middle son and DiL went with us and we met (not arranged) youngest son and DiL there. Then on the way home, eldest son called to say that he and DiL and the tiddlers were heading  up to ours. Full house today.

I went to see Captain Marvel on Saturday night- loved it! Can’t wait for Avengers: end game. Then hosted a party for friends yesterday, which went very well

Summer, there are rather a lot of films in what's called "Marvel Cinematic Universe". 21 so far including Captain Marvel and 10 more in various stages of production including that Avengers one you mention. My brother does like them. I've seen some when they've been shown on television - I wouldn't pay money to see them though.
