Good morning everyone

A bit brighter here than yesterday, though still breezy. Tomorrow's weather is forecast to be very wet and windy all day.

I hope all those in the Storm Ali area today aren't affected too much

Yogi, I hope your shooting pains subsided and you were able to get a better night's sleep

Squiggle, I hope you and your grandson have just about recovered from the bronchial coughing

Routine dental hygienist appointment followed by a checkup this morning.

I hope everyone has a good day

El Loro

Good morning all

Weather is grey and rainy but no wind atm.

Thanks Ros and El, my hip is a lot less painful and I slept much better last night.

Hope all goes well at the dentist, El.

Squiggle, I’m glad you and your grandson are continuing to feel better.

Summer, I hope your washing didn’t blow away yesterday

Moonie, we miss you, hope you are okay.

Velvet, I don’t know why you’ve gone but please come back to us.

aw Moonie I hope you soon feel better, what’s wrong with your eye?

Yogi I hope you have been in less pain today

squiggle I’m pleased you’re on the mend, I don’t like to think of you being unwell

el, I really wonder at garages these days! My car needs looking at, but it could be a simple fuse. I hate dealing with car stuff, I just don’t know who to trust.

it’s been wild here today, I had to rescue the neighbours fairy lights and the poor lass has lost a roof tile too

Hope you all sleep well tonight, I’m going to Churchill soon

~Sparkling Summer~

Good morning everyone

Raining here, looks as if it will ease for a time but return with windy conditions this evening.

Summer, as you say, it's trying to find a car repair place you can trust

Ros, if you remember what that blue butterfly looked like you might be able to identify which type via this link

I hope everyone has a good day

Hi Sweet

I had a conjunctival cyst on my lower left part eyelid 🙂

Its healing but it will take a little time by the looks of it

I had a good day with the tiddlers but after a sleepless night (shooting pains in my hip), I am shattered and having an early night.

Goodnight and sweet dreams, Ros

Hug for any night owls

I missed this yesterday

I hope you are feeling much better today Yogi

Glad you had a good time with the little ones too 😁

Moonie, I'm not suprised that your eye was so sore, and I'm glad that it's healing

Squiggle, the weather here is nuch the same as yours. The worst here is this evening, tomorrow and the first part of Saturday seems not to bad, then the second part of Saturday and Sunday is more wet and windy weather though hopefully not as bad as this evening, From Monday it looks a lot more settled next week.

And in the last half hour I've been doing some emergency cutting back of the forsythia bush in the back which is near the lounge patio doors. It's a large tall bush and the branches were brushing against the windows. I think it must have grown over the last month to account for that. Considering that it's expected to be very windy tonight, if I left it, there could be some damage or a risk that branches would break off in the wind. One green wheelie filled in that time.

Moonie, unfortunately I do have to go out to see a client (not that far, about a 10 minute drive) at 6. I want to keep it as short as possible as the rain will set in some time between 6.30 and 7 and it will be dark by shortly after 7 - I don't really want to be driving in the dark in the pouring rain with wind speed over 40 mph.
