Happy 147th birthday to a local man Hubert Cecil Booth, he invented the vacuum cleaner. It was powered by an internal combusion engine nicknamed "Puffing Billy". It was rather noisy as a result.

He came up with an alternative version, an electric one, where the electricity was created by a dynamo with a large treadmill in the garden where alpacas had been trained to run on the treadmill. I have not been able to find any pictorial evidence of this though

 You’ve got alpaca-itis

Hope it’s not catching

 You’ve got alpaca-itis

I've now found some pictorial evidence to sort of support this. Here's today's Google Doodle:

though the animal on the right is closer to a horse rather than an alpaca.

Popping in to wish you all sweet dreams it’s been a busy day, the alpacas have arrived and we’ve been showing them around! I spur of the moment decided to strip Bramble’s fur, it takes hours but is worth the effort. She was so fed up, bless her, but now she’s gone WILD!!!!! I think she’s happy lol

hope you all had a good day, will catch up tomorrow

~Sparkling Summer~

Good morning everyone

Cloudy here at present, but forecast to become another sunny and very warm day.

Summer, I hope the alpacas are settling in and are house trained. It might be a bit disconcerting for you if you wake up one morning to find that they are lying down on top of you
Bramble must be feeling cooler now

I hope everyone has a good day

There's a nice little cartoon picture of the Kepler telescope finding such a moon

You mean there might me β€˜exomoonies’ out there?

Yes, and they might consist of choc ice or cake

It will make a change from cheese

BBC article todaay about the complexity of the terms and privacy notices of well known social websites:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-44599968
Spotify has the longest at about 13,000 words and Netflix the shortest at around 6,000 words.

As I've had to do the same for my clients re GDPR I thought I'd check the length of mine, privacy notice 1,766 words and terms 3,359 words so 5,125 combined. Still lengthy but a bit shorter than Netflix.
