Good morning everyone

Just back from shopping. Throwing it down and blowing a gale when I went out. Same when I got back. It’s now decided to stop raining and brighten up

Good news, shopping done for the next couple of days so I’m not bothered what the weather does until Wednesday

Have a great day but stay warm and safe

Moonie

Yesterday, I listened to a Radio 4 drama I had recorded last August called Tolkien in Love. It's a real treat and if it's ever repeated well worth listening to. It's not available on iplayer. J R R Tolkien was Roman Catholic and Edith Bratt Protestant and 3 years older - they met when he was 16 when they were living in a boarding house in Birmingham in 1909. The drama is about their early years leading up to 1913.

It's a romantic drama. There are references to his Beren (Tolkien) and LΓΊthien (Bratt) story which was first written in 1917 and was developed over the years, though you don't need to know anything about his writing to enjoy it.

You will remember that I posted about getting a call supposedly from HMRC about unpaid tax and that I had alerted people about this.
The criminals are still at it

I wonder if they could trace the scammers through the iTunes voucher numbers

They might though that presumably depends on if Apple would co-operate with the British investigatory authorities.

Hope it doesn’t take as long af the floor to come to a conclusion

moonie, keep us posted on that colour scheme I’m thinking of changing my living room colours for the spring & summer. Green seems to be trending this season, and it’s one of my favourite colours πŸ€”
