Same here yogi, I've felt those first glimpses of autumn on the wind a couple of times now. This afternoon was red hot though, how typical!
Enjoy your book amd and I hope you all have a fabulous day tomorrow. Sweet dreams

Good morning everyone
Fair weather here at present, forecast to cloud over and may get some rain.
Yogi,is Mr Yogi claiming on the insurance for the car or not bothering?
Summer, sounds as if you need winter clothes and summer clothes to hand at all times, strange weather.
Another straightforward client meeting later this morning.
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning everyone, lots of blue sky this morning, I'm making the most of it as the forecast is for heavy rain tomorrow.
Enjoy your day everyone
Squiggle, it's much the same here with heavy rain tomorrow. I think the weather in the south is supposed to be getting more like summer during next week,
Good noon we've got summer and winter appearing at alternative intervals here this morning
nothing exciting going on, just the norm
Summer, Lori will have to rename you Sweet Summer Winter Wonderland
There were these 7 Roman Catholic priests who went into a pub

I'm glad the priests saw the funny side of it.
Evening all.
I've had a good day with the tiddlers.
El, we decided it wasn't worth claiming on the insurance and paid it ourselves. The respray is excellent and Mr Y is very happy with it.
I'll be in the CBB thread - I'm a glutton for punishment.

Good morning everyone
Cloudy here and forecast to be raining for much of the time. Although there will be some rain to come over the next few days, today seems to be the last of the really wet days. Although July's rain was above average, the year to date has been below.
Yogi, I'm glad you had a good day with the tiddlers and that Mr Y is pleased with the result of the respray
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning everyone, a much nicer morning than had been forecast, high clouds moving fast but very little rain - so far - . Our reservoirs are very full, which is unusual at this time of the year, there is even some overspill. I'm glad the respray turned out so well Yogi.
Enjoy your day everyone
Possibly the very first flower on Earth looked like this:
Good morning, everyone.
Weather was sunny when I woke but now it's threatening to rain.
I'm hoping there will be a dry spell later so I can walk Keira.
Squiggle, it must be very unusual to have the reservoirs full at this time of year.
El, that's a very pretty flower, the shape reminds me of a lotus flower.
Have a good day, everyone.
Summer I have just noticed that they seem to be running Dirty Dancing again on Sunday afternoon on Channel 5. I thought it must be a misprint in my TV magazine but I checked the schedule on my TV and it is shown there. I think you missed it last Sunday.
Yogi, I hope the rain holds off for your walk
Squiggle, it just shows how much rain fell in July,
Provisional rainfall map on the right for July from the Met Office, It shows that my area was 175% above average and I can believe that.

Thanks for the dirty dancing tip Squiggle I'll look out for it this weekend
el those pics are fantastic, I love to think of far outside of our little planet, then all our woes seem entirely unimportant
I hope you've all had a good day, I've been out walking with friends and pottering around the house productively the rest of the time

I hope everyone has a good day

Just one person to protect us from alien life?
Good morning all
It's overcast and damp weather, up here.
Out and about today, and grocery shopping to do.
Have a good day, everyone.
Yogi, I wonder if Bruce Willis or Sigourney Weaver will be applying for that job
I hope you don't get caught out in the rain when you go out.
Good morning everyone, pretty wild here. High winds and downpours, luckily I have no plans to go out so I can watch it and stay dry. The garden is loving it of course and everything looks washed clean.
Magnificent photos EL demonstrating quite clearly the handiwork of God, the greatest artist ever in my opinion. I hope your client surprises you and brings all the paperwork you will need.
Enjoy your day everyone
Squiggle, I agree with you about the photos. The winners will be announced on 14 September. Assuming the BBC publishes those I'll post a link to them then.
The client has been and gone. And as I expected she didn't bring all the paperwork I had asked for.
Good morning, raining heavy here and it's chilly. Happy summer
did you see the pic in todays news of lightening hitting an active volcano?
As for aliens, I'd rather think that it's they who need protection from us. They're probably nicer than most of us

The 11th photograph from that link reminded me of the classic Guinness advert - this is the one which is an extended version of the original so you may not have seen this:

Thanks El, it did rain while I was out but, I was in the car so didn't get wet.
I even managed to go for a walk with Keira in the afternoon when it brightened up.
