Moonie, I'm glad your gas servicing went well and was early to free up the rest of your day

Squiggle, yes, it's a much better day than yesterday.

I think the workman may have just about finished on that roof. I can see that there is a row of newish tiles at the bottom of the main roof just above the small bay windows roof so it looks as if it was more than just refelting the bay windows roof.

That was nice to get that out of the way nice and early Moonie, it's a lovely day here for washing I hope it is where you are too.

Fankoo squiggle

I hope you did your washing

It's  still cold and dull here. The odd bit of drizzle too

Thanks El

The work on the roof seems to be progressing well then

I got a letter this morning with a accountants certificate from to complete for one of my clients. Nothing unusual in that apart from the fact that the client had sent me the form rather than the building society and he enclosed a stamped envelope with his address to send it back to him rather to to the building society.

That's never happened to me before and I rang him to say that I wasn't happy with this. He said he was going in to the building society and would come back to me.

There's an very good reason why the certificate should go direct to the lenders rather than to the individual. If the individual has it, what's to stop them from changing the amount of net income I show by adding a digit at the end or beginning of my number thus being able to get a much larger loan.

Good morning everyone, another beautiful morning Do you think we can hope that Spring has arrived?

You and Mr Yogi sound like me and my hubby - we had so many silly rows.  Luckily he was a lot more patient than me.  I remember we were trying to put together a super kingsize bed, we couldn't make head or tail of it and after much puzzling I was persuaded to leave him to it - so I could calm down and he calmly worked it out.  I am glad you had a good day with the little ones.

Enjoy your day everyone

Good morning everyone

It's dry but cold here. The sun is trying to break through but is losing the battle at the moment

Yogi, I hope your weather stays dry

*dons marriage guidance hat incase marital disharmony breaks out between Mr ang Mrs Yogi*

Good luck with day one of the decorating Yogi

EL, I hope the hazy sunshine turns to be of the full blown variety

squiggle, it's always best to leave it to us blokes to work it out on our own. Less painful to the ears too but it's also good to have a little sensible and calm advice too

Sweet, I hope you and Bramble have a good day

Have a super dry, sunny and happy day peeps

Unusual clip on the BBC site. It's an extract from their next Click programme which will be shown in 360-degree mode. It will be possible for you to move the view 360 degrees around and up and down. The clip is from the Hadron Collider. Details how to view it are in the article.

On a computer it's just a matter on clicking on the arrows in the top left corner. If the clip freezes just click the play button to restart.

The programme itself  is being shown at 1.30 tomorrow morning on BBC News channel. It may be being shown at later times of 6.30 am, 19.30 pm, then on Sunday 3.30 am and 13.30 pm according to one page on the BBC site, but their TV Guide shows differently which is confusing. I doubt if recording it would work.
