Moonie, Cheltenham does have a good pitch and I was a bit surprised when I saw that picture. As you say, it looks as if it's just the goal mouth which is waterlogged. They wouldn't have called off the match unless they had to as they were playing against the bottom club so would have expected a win.

I think they do the *if the ball doesn't roll on the pitch* it's deemed unplayable/unsafe, as well as other tests too El

Sorry, my phone rang

hi moonie & squiggle have you each had a good day?

I was lucky enough to be off work but I do keep thinking its Sunday lol

squiggle, I use my bare hands. One day I'll try a stripping knife. I do trim the delicate areas with scissors though her reward was a lump of cheese and she loved it

Nice to have an extended holiday eh, Sweet?

I don't quite know which day of the week it is either

A cheese eating dog, that's a new one on me

I do have a lovely mental picture of you Moonie busily videoing away as you give chase

How on earth did you find out Bramble liked cheese Summer? Does the fur come out easily then? I was imagining you with clippers.

Sometimes they lead me a merry chase around the pool. They just swim to the other side

Moonie

I saw it on puppy training videos and it was easier to store & carry around in my pocket than pieces of meat, when she was young. Most dogs will do anything for cheese!

I have done her belly with the clippers, I used to scissor it but it's much tidier & faster with clippers. She has her own salon's worth of grooming tools lol

what are you both doing tomorrow?

Is she any problem when being groomed Sweet?

Well I have two recorded footie games to watch and probably another to record. Day sorted

Hi Moonie, my day was fine, thanks.

Summer, I can confirm that dogs love cheese - I used to use it to train Keira too.

That's good

I have never heard of this phenomenon of feeding dogs cheese before

I can't remember where I first heard about dogs liking cheese. It might have been from Barbara Woodhouse. lol

Hi Yogi. I am hoping to get to church in the morning, flood permitting. I've got a couple of things to drop off on the way, a get well card for a friend who's had an operation and a print out of an Amazon page so another friend can track down manuka honey dressings for her leg ulcers. The NHS have been supplying an inferior one to the one they used in hospital and her poor legs aren't healing, she hadn't thought of buying them herself but the cost is reasonable and she's OK with that. What price do you put on being pain free?

It's awful that the NHS aren't suppling decent dressings, but at least she will be in less pain when she has the right ones.

manuka honey is brilliant isn't it squiggle. it sounds like you have a busy day tomorrow, I hope the weather is kind to you how's your car doing?

moonie, bramble does try to sometimes wander off, lick me, roll on her back... But for the most part she resigns herself to it and let's me get on with it. I think she does very well considering how long it takes.
