It's a question I get asked from time to time by people who know I'm an accountant. The other question I get asked from time to time is for advice on investments. Someone at my church was upset with me when I told her that I could not give her advice as I'm not authorised to do so. If I did give advice and they lost money as a result, I would get sued for the loss and I would not be covered by my insurance.

I see that the film An Inspector Calls (Alastair Sim) is on Film4 this afternoon starting at 4.45 pm. I'm recording it as I don't remember ever seeing it and it is regarded as one of Sim's best non-comedy roles. I hope Skylark spots it as it is one of her favourite films.

Don't ask me why the link refers to Somerset, when the Forest is in Gloucesrshire - with Dartmoor moving to Gloucestershire I suppose it's only fair that the Forest moves to Somerset. Maybe the Cheddar Gorge has moved from Somerset to Devon.

I would think she might have a long wait to find a buyer EL, not many people could live with that decor.

When I was a new driver, I got a nasty letter from the police in hull! They said I'd been caught speeding and they were going to take me to court

I had never been to hull in my life, lived nowhere near it and had no intentions of going anywhere near it!
Luckily, I could prove I was at work that day and it turned out my number plate had been cloned I still have the letter of apology from the police
