Hi Summer the pond is looking lovely and I should be able to get fish in about a week.  The showers are working out perfectly for the newly planted plants, I have 2 more to go in, and another rhododendron on the way, I got carried away and decided to plant another one further along the slope too.

Yay I'd forgot it was a PB day, have a great time Yogi.

I'm just waiting to pick up my car after it's MOT & service, so I've come to my SIL's to put a colour on her hair.
When we were busy talking we didn't notice bramble sneak off and found her in the room where 2 pet bunnies are kept! luckily they were safely locked in their cage so she couldn't get to them but it still scared the life out of me! She was aggressive towards them but she could easily have frightened them

I'm back from my two courses. The first one on tax was very useful as there have been many many changes. The second one on accounting was fairly interesting but nothing major which I wasn't already aware of. Little chance of anyone falling asleep during either course with the quantity of material covered.

I don't think many of the problems on squiggle's list are ones which ring a bell for me. At courses I attend, most of those attending stay silent while the person giving the course is talking, typical English reserve. One ot two people might ask a question or make a comment, but the only person who seems to always asks questions or comments (not excessively, but a couple of times a session) is me.

Evening everyone.

I'm glad your car passed its MOT, Summer. My youngest son's car passed its MOT too.

El, I'm glad the courses were useful to you. Shame about the odd biscuit.

Had a nice day with PB and my youngest son. My eldest son and DiL call Harvey their Big Bubba, so now PB calls all dogs 'Bubba'.

Off for a soak in the bath, see you in a wee while.

Good morning everyone. It has been raining overnight, up here.

lol Summer, I wonder how you ended up with that girls' pics as your goodnight pic?

Summer, I think you are wise to make room for lots of ice cream, and lovely pasta too.

Ros, is it the performance of Mozart's Requiem on the 17th of May? I'm sure your choir will sound wonderful.

Squiggle, your slope is going to look beautiful with all your new plants. Did your  grandson manage to rescue the sprinkler from the end of your hose yet?

Have a good day, everyone.

Good morning everyone, very wet here, for once I am delighted because the garden is practically singing with joy.  I find it so thrilling to see everything coming into flower and looking so good.  No Yogi my sprinkler is still down there, getting rained on now   Never mind my grandson will be over soon.  The slope is definitely beginning to look a lot more like a garden and less like a poor bare patch.  How are everyone's gardens looking?  Ooh I ordered some long handled cutters which came and they are great.  I have lilies in the pond and find it difficult to trim the foliage, the long handled cutters should be just the ticket.

Good idea Summer, you will be able to eat lots of delicious food without a care in the world.  I think if I were ever to go on a cruise I should have to starve myself for a year before they serve so much food on those ships, unless of course the seas were stormy, I am not a good sailor.

Oh and my shoulder is completely back to normal

Enjoy your day everyone
