Good morning everyone.  Yogi your tummy has a rotten sense of timing, it must be so awful that it plays up whenever you're looking forward to something you planned   Hope you feel better today and can give your Dad a big hug.  Enjoy your day with Harvey.

You sound like you need an early night Summer, tuck yourself up nice and snuggly really early on with one of these

          and one of these

Have a good day everyone

Yogi I hope you had a good night's sleep and feel brighter this morning

How is everyone today?

We're planning an early night tonight- I fell asleep again right after my alarm went off this morning! 9pm is the target- if anyone sees me about after that, tell me off

I'll chase you if I see you around after 9pm.

Thanks El and Summer, I feel a lot better today.

Thanks Squiggle, it does have rubbish timing, but I feel better today.

Thanks, I could definitely use an earlier night. I was going to have one last night but mr summer had me out videoing him for a daft dare that's doing the rounds on Facebook we then had to get back and upload it...

Usually, it lasts 24-48 hours, although it lasted for a week on one occasion.

The daft dare sounds intriguing.

Yogi, I'm glad you are feeling better today

This morning I had a phone call from some outfit looking for an accountant for the local area for doctors. I'm always a bit doubtful about that type of phone call. Sometimes it's for an advert to go in some sort of pamphlet for patients. I think those are a waste of money for accountants to advertise in.

This one was for some internal publication for doctors themselves. Many doctors do need accountants as they often need to complete tax returns. But this isn't the first time I've had this type of phone call. They are always looking for an accountant to represent the local area.

So what happened to the accountant who used to represent the local area? Presumably they realised that it was a waste of money.

I think you have got it sussed.

I agree, I think you do well to be cautious.

The daft dares are a current trend called neknominations. If you get nominated you have to either neck a pint of something stupid, or neck a pint and do something stupid, then nominate 2 other people. It seems to have started with country lads doing daft country things. So far there's been things like people running around feeding  cattle in their underwear etc.
There's been a news story circulating today though because a couple of people took it to the extreme and have got themselves killed
The ones that aren't dangerous, can be very funny, mr summer's was tame, but very funny!

I agree, so awful to die for a daft reason like this.

I don't know what's happened - has someone drowned?

19 year old Jonny Byrne jumped into the river and drowned. Where he lived, what started off as a dare has become something more like cyber bullying where people are being goaded into dangerous stunts such as getting into a slurry tank or faced being accused of being a coward.

I hate this kind of thing!

I'd much rather be alive and considered a coward, than deemed brave and be dead. Sadly peer pressure can be a dangerous thing.
