It's looking very blank outside here El...like a paint by numbers picture - no colour at all

Stay bright & cheery folks

Same here, now, Slim.

At least with a paint by numbers you can make that colourful or one of those coloring books where you can use any colours you want. Yogi mentioned some years ago that she liked doing colouring books as a form of relaxation

Yes, it became a bit of a craze a few years ago didn't it...Waterstones has a large selection of them for adults.

How would that work I wonder...I know there are stylos that can be bought to use on the computer??

My guess is that you just click on an area with the selected colour and that area automatically fills with that colour. There's no mention in the requirements about needing such a stylus so it must be something like that,

Take care folks!

The Met Office has now declared it as Storm Darragh. The yellow warning has been extended to cover the south of Scotland.

There are now amber wind warnings from 3 am to 9 pm on Saturday for the wind covering Northern Ireland and the west of Wales and England. Slim, your plans for Saturday may have to be changed

Let's hope the rest of your fence is as secure as your new panel El

Thanks Slim That panel is the one which is at the end of the shared drive and is at an angle. The drive can be a bit of a wind tunnel making that panel more at risk than the other panels.

Years ago I was on Broad Street in Birmingham and walked along the pedestrian subway where there's a roundabout where the A4540 crosses Broad Street. I'd got past the A4540 and started to walk out of the subway to where Broad Street continues.
There's a handrail along the side of the subway. The subway can be a wind tunnel. The strength of the wind was the most I've ever been caught in, I had to edge along the subway holding the handrail as I did as that was the only way possible.

A fairly sunny calm start here, then Storm Darragh arrives, forecast gusts well into the 50s throughout Saturday here, worse in the amber warning area.

I hope everyone has a good day

Yellow, Amber, Yellow is our forecast for later today and over the weekend El, both with the local & BBC Met office...

Stay safe folks!
