Auditions for Big Brother 2017 took place earlier this year, inviting only duos to apply in a first for the show.

Big Brother will launch on Channel 5 this summer with a launch expected in early June.

Well now; that in itself would normally be enough to put me off watching. Yet more manipulation and forced drama - whoopee.

 

Having said that: on the face of it, the report on Telemix seems more promising. As someone on DS points out, this is probably the first time in about 6 years that anyone from C5 has used the phrase "social experiment" in the context of BB.

Summer's Big Brother UK promises to be "the ultimate social experiment"

 

Without any apparent commitment to Live Feed, I expect I'll be doing the same as last year: watch the opening live with all you FMs, and make a decision then as to whether I'm going to stick with it. I'm not hopeful, though...

Same here, not just about LF but also because it's been so fake and formulaic recently.

I may watch the opening and laugh and that's it......withdraw my watching hours
