Don't forget, it starts at 21.00 this evenng,

All three families get flustered and make mistakes in the last semi-final: pasta dough isn’t kneaded sufficiently; a meat sauce isn’t cooked down properly; not enough filling is used in a dessert pie; and the eggs served as part of a reinvented breakfast boil over rather than gently poach. But surprisingly, that notorious challenge, the chocolate fondant pudding, doesn’t trip any of them up.

There are culinary triumphs in the barn this week, too. “That’s one of the best cooked breakfasts I’ve ever eaten in my life,” Giorgio Locatelli tells one beaming team, while Rosemary Shrager simply says, “I salute you!” Quite right.

Summary

Zoe Ball and Nadiya Hussain present the last semi-final, which sees the Pigotts and the Bellamores joined by a third wildcard family - chosen by Rosemary Shrager and Giorgio Locatelli from the runners-up. The teams face three new culinary challenges - Perfect Puddings, Nation's Favourite with a Twist and What's in the Fridge? - but as ever, only one trio can go through to the final. Hosted by Zoe Ball and Nadiya Hussain.

The BBC have been keeping quiet as to who the third family are.

And now I’ve deleted the whole thread by mistake

What have you done , you destroyer of threads

(and I think it's impossible to get a thread back. Not sure if backups of forums are done but that wouldn't help as all posts made since that backup would be wiped out so not really an option)

I’ve no idea ...I only wanted to delete one post ...but guess it must have been my thread and I ended up deleting the whole thing  It’s ok ...it was just the Further Back in Time thread....which was a repeat anyway
