what's dripping?
My eldest Brother uses his love of toast and dripping as his badge of honour....

My Mum had one too, she got rid of it and had a welsh dresser....no flap....
Mine hung onto hers until she moved into a flat in the 1980s.....it sort of disappeared in the clear out 🤣
So far, this family seem to be getting tasty meals.
This meal looks a lot better than the tripe one

My dad used to take me down the market on a Saturday for small plates of tripe, vinegar and pepper and also small plates of cockles and vinegar.
On the way home I would be treated to a bag of chocolate buttons with hundreds and thousands to eat whilst watching Dr Who in black and white.
could not do that to a rabbit either

Think of it as a beefy spread that is delicious melting on warm white toasted bread.

Cockles and winkles yes........non of that tripe stuff for me.....
Anyone seen the old black and white film Hindle Wakes ??
And we never had rabbit either......my mothers family were well off, one of their businesses was a grocer cum off licence so my mother always had nice food
