bought a ring for daughter for christmas and had to buy a box as they now sell jewellery in PLASTIC bags, watches come in clear plastic boxes, they will obviously do anything to make a few quid

I bought my eldest a watch there the other day but it just came in a plastic container. I thought this was because it was a kids watch. I'd have hoped an adult's watch would be a bit better packaged!
Were you able to buy a nice box for it?
stopped buying anything from Argos as every item I've ever had from there has broken and their customer service is pants 
I've got a stock of 'unnamed' jewelery boxes. 
Not that I've ever had to use them but you know.........

bought a nice box for the ring, but not for the watches (one was for daughter and other is mine) I was just so angry that they are resorting to these sort of tactics to make yet more money

I noticed they did this when I bought my daughter a belly bar, I said does it not come in a box and the lad said you can buy one or have a normal one, I said normal and he went in the back and got me the box it must have originally came in 
Who was the comedian that said Argos is the only shop that we go in that is empty but we still buy from them without seeing what it is 
I think this every time I go in there now
