I think my addiction might be over with the show, I've actually turned it off 3 times before the end and that's unheard of for me in the first week of a series.

I can see this series dying a slow death, we've had one walker already and I can't see David, Nancy or Angie and possibly Kristina staying till the end which just leaves us with the fauxmances

They said at the start that they had an extra week put into their contracts if the series went well, imo I can't see it lasting it's normal run

What's your thoughts on the series so far?

Pretty much the same as you Aimee  . Its a real chore watching it. If it wasn't for us all bonding together on the thread, I wouldn't tune in. If the more interesting ones do go early on, and we're left with only fauxmances, I'm orrff!

I couldn't help feeling after Bowie died yesterday... what completely shallow and pointless nomarks this lot are. Not only BB but popular culture has really descended to the dregs.

Ironically, this is the first CBB I have actually seen from the beginning since the first one, primarily because I am on leave for a month (did I mention that?  .

But I was never going to watch this all the way through and although I have seen every episode so far my run comes to an end as I will be at the footy tonight and saturday night out for food. I will not be catching up and will gradually walk away from it.

I'm really only joining in for the chat with other FM's. You are right, it's dire. I have no interest in these people and will not miss it when I'm not around.

I pretty much agree with that. Celebrity used to be a by-product of the public facing career you chose be it musician, film or TV. Now it would seem that celebrity is the main aim regardless of whether you have a specific talent or not.

Up to now it isn't what one would term "a classic"

Nor could it be called 'interesting'

I find it interesting only so far as to see how low 'celebrity' has descended. And it's low.

It's up to BB to bring out the best in anyone but they're failing. I'm sure that even Scotty Tit can be a real giggle when provoked.

It's not so much that they're running out of celebs, it's that they're bereft of ideas

I agree with you they just can't be bothered to think up new ideas and funny tasks, they just want the arguments and romances
