I have the answers for 9 through to 25: unless anyone's desperate to get the solution sent off quickly (  ), I'll leave off posting for a little while to give everyone-else a chance.

I didn't attempt this.  I must be the worst person in the UK for guessing dog breeds.  I don't have a faintest clue.  I see a dog and think 'big' or 'little' dog and 'nasty dog' and 'nice dog'

Carnelian

The film questions on dogs are:
9 Call of the Wild (as Baz said and Dame confirmed as correct)
10 Turner & Hooch (being the dog in question)
11 Far from Home - The Adventures of Yellow Dog

I've got the anagram ones but so that it doesn't spoil it for others I'll put the answers in pale text (don't quote this post as a quote will show the answers).

19 Watership Down
20 Winnie the Pooh
21 Water for Elephants
22 Just So Stories
23 Gorillas in the Mist
24 The Horse Whisperer
25 The Three Billy Goats Gruff

Ah - I’d just assumed 11 was ‘Old Yeller’. However from a quick search, the dog in that was a crossbreed...

Hi Dame,

Hope you don't mind me butting-in.

I was thinking about this quiz this morning, as it appeared to have gone a bit quiet.

Here are my answers from earlier:

9) The Call of the Wild

10) Turner & Hooch

11) Old Yeller

12) Snoopy

13) Mr. Bigglesworth

14) Nala

15) Thomas O’Malley

16) Tom

17) (The) Night at the Museum - Dexter

18) The Wind in the Willows

19) Watership Down

20) Winnie the Pooh

21) Water for Elephants

22) Just So Stories

23) Gorillas in the Mist

24) The Horse Whisperer

25) The Three Billy Goats Gruff

Notes:

11) As I've said above; I just assumed this was "Old Yeller", but that dog was a crossbreed - not a pure Labrador. I'm sure El Loro's correct and it's actually "Far from Home - The Adventures of Yellow Dog".

17) The question does ask for the movie, which was "Night at the Museum"; however note that the book it was adapted from was called "The Night at the Museum".

The anagrams probably need double-checking to make sure they're letter-perfect.

I'm sorry to say that I can't help with the dogs. Having them all as puppies makes it doubly difficult and I'm sure it's there that this quiz will be won and lost...

Thank you so much Eugine, El and everyone who posted

I totally agree with you Eugine, the pictures are really difficult and I will be suprised if anyone answers them all. I shall let you know the results when we get them back
