Also done I'm just a bit slow

some things are easy to work out as no two forums are ever the same so getting the hang of quoting or inserting smilies or pics, changing the time and getting an Av are fairly easy but trying to navigate back to were you where after you wander some where else is like getting on the underground and going to the next station only to find you cant go back using the underground and you dont have a street map 

That's the biggest problem I have Sossy... I dont know how to get back, say here when I've nipped somewhere else... and cant find how to get back to the last posting at all in here...   Have to back to the last page and scroll down, do you do that?...  Is there any other way Zaph?.. 

Apart from using the 'Ticker' which is very useful if you want to return to a particular post you or someone else has made.. hover over the post so that the 'permalink' shows.. click on that and watch the URL at the top of the browser change slightly.. then bookmark.. it will take you exactly back to that post

Open more windows...one for the ticker for exploring and one for the forums and just refresh like before.

I was doing that...but I hardly bother with the forums so I just have my blog open and the ticker.

You can rename bookmarks to make sense... and yes Di bookmarks is Firefoxeese for Favourites

But Angel is right... the Ticker is dead useful

Ok... Ive already got livecloud home and the gaga forum threads in my favs..... Ive just clicked on Ticker.. and all I see are loads of thread titles, none of which refer to any Ive been in, such as this Zaph....

You might have to look at your settings Di and make sure you have alerts set...let me see what I have got set

Under Manage : Content Notifications do you have buddies ticked? and in Manage : My Settings do you have the Alerts ticked?

When I click Man-Content Notification.. the only Buddie showing is yourself Zaph.. and both boxes there are ticked.... and most of the alert boxes are ticked under My Settings too...

Hmmmm .. I will have to think a bit more about that.. if you cannot see my posts in the Ticker because I can see yours ok

Sorry Zaph, that's all it is. Just didn't realise how much guff was going through from each thread.

However, have you got the one about making links with titles?

Don't apologise Fluffy I only discovered that a few minutes ago myself.. I don't normally post in places I am not interest in but when we had that 'bump fest' the other night I started to get a lot of posts from a thread I wasn't bothered about so went looking and found the Stop Watching option.. have posted about it in The Bar in case it helps others. Edit : Kaytee has just used it to good effect
