We seem to have sprung a leak...there's a 5 foot long wet patch at the top of the first floor landing and I cant work out where it has come from

we have a leak in our bedroom that we can't trace but it only happens when there's exceptional torrential rain. you might find it doesn't leak again for years.
we've just had a massive thunderstorm. i got soaked. i also nearly fell through the rotten floor of the old hall at work and then cut my wrist on some corrugated sheeting :thud: i'm not going out any more today

Touches wood/crosses fingers and all... so far, my back/trapped nerve is ok... back to work today... but at least I am able to, got physio appointments set up, as opposed to osteopathy... just pray it doesnt happen again anytime soon, which Ive been warned, prob will...ahh, well... live in eternal hopes.. i've just rediscovered my brian eno - apollo album. i've been watching loads of the moon stuff on beeb4 and they're using a lot of it for incidental music so i've rooted around in my drawers and found a dusty old tape recorded of a mates crackly album 20 odd years ago, i'd almost forgotten how great it is. i'm gonna have to invest in the CD
