Call me cynical but are newspapers struggling to keep reader number up?

I only know one person who still buys a newspaper and that's my Mum who buys the local rag. Everyone else either uses the Interweb or grabs a free copy of the Metro.

Anyone else think this is going to be a short lived event?

I think my op opening line was quite prophetic.

The website as of today.

Who remembers this fail:

Folded after just a decade or so.

Was it Eddie Shah. The strike?

Did he try to ban trade unions from his premises or similar?

Yes Baz, I do believe I heard one had closed down.

I think it's just online now

The 'i' , which is basically a cut-down version of the Indie is still going though.
