Looks like the * road map* might be about to hit a bump ! I wonder if those people who were stupid enough to go abroad , or mix indiscriminately, feel any guilt ….somehow I doubt it !

I'm wondering whether the time has come to make the vaccine mandatory....

No, they'll be staring in amazement, wondering how that happened!

(response to Baz' post)

Sadly , I think you are spot on EFFT …..and they will be the ones complaining loudly about any restrictions ! I was reading there have already been 3 or 4 deaths from the Indian variant. I have to say I was shocked listening to people saying the other day that they had gone to India over Easter , and then, because the flights were stopped,  they had come home via turkey I think it was …and I think they then avoided having to quarantine here .

Tricky question, could be a can of worms!

Better than being in a grave of maggots ....

It's all very well people saying it is against their human rights....but what about everyone else's when they choose to not have the vaccine ..therefore continuing to let it spread & mutate.

imo

What I read about the Turkey situation was that a lot of people coming from a 'red list' country, any 'red list' country, were paying for a 10 day stay in Turkey, which was Green or Amber List at the time, not to avoid quarantine per sé, but to avoid the 1.7K + cost of the managed hotel quarantine and then just isolate at home because they hadn't been in a Red List country in the past 10 days. Of course what that has done is pulled lots of virus into Turkey and hasten it's advancement to the Red List, not forgwtting the hightened risk it has created for the Turkish citizens themselves!!!

Looks like it could go 'Belly-up' at any moment now!

The Army have been sent in to help with the vaccine surge...let's hope the uptake is worth it.

'You can bring the vaccine to people... but you can't make them take it'

Rangers are totally irresponsible for accepting the SPL Trophy today. Do it off piste.

The SPL are totally irresponsible for suggesting/offering it.

Scot.Gov should have vetoed it.

Glasgow's Indian variant. Watch it later. Sorry Moons - searched for your thread, but it beat me

Apparently there was a fight in the airport lounge at Luton yesterday ! What is wrong with people ….and , considering the holiday restrictions are still in place , what the heck were they doing there in the first place !

And you just know the airport staff won't stop them arriving....cos even if they can't fly they can still spend vast sums of money on the ridiculously overpriced goods whilst waiting
It never ceases to amaze me how stupid some folk are

Probably Slim ….although I can’t see that many of the airport shops would be open ….and they are usually the other side of check in .

The Indian strain is now in over 80 council areas

I heard that too ...

Also that it is now the dominant strain in Bolton, Blackburn and Darwen, with Bedford a close second to Bolton.. all age groups.
plus most people in hospital in those areas had been offered a vaccine but had chosen against it

And now the end is near and so I face the final needle

My friends I state it clear this may be my biggest hurdle

I've lived a life of fear as that jab comes along the highway

But more much more than this I cried my w-a-y
