My mum and dad used to have lots of Siskins in their garden.
In the new house, it’s mostly seagulls although I did see a pair of pied wagtails the other day.

Awwww We have a wagtail that visits here sometimes ...at least I think it’s a wagtail 

 Pied ones are black and white but you get grey, and yellow ones too

 When mum and dad first moved into the sheltered housing complex, mum hated the noisy seagulls but now she enjoys watching them β€œdance” when they’re trying to get the worms to come to the top of the lawn - she says they look like they are doing Riverdance.

don't think we get wagtails

I don’t get them in my garden but I see them in the car park in the village

This pair are black and white 

Definitely sounds like pied wagtails

 Apparently, the trick is to keep your back to a wall, then they aren’t so keen to divebomb you
