Awwww We have a wagtail that visits here sometimes ...at least I think it’s a wagtail 

 Pied ones are black and white but you get grey, and yellow ones too

don't think we get wagtails

I don’t get them in my garden but I see them in the car park in the village

Definitely sounds like pied wagtails

 Apparently, the trick is to keep your back to a wall, then they aren’t so keen to divebomb you
