I don't know why the Radio Times said that last night's showstopping task was to do with masked balls They might have just seen a couple of stills from the episode showing that samurai mask and the geisha girl mask and just assuned it was to do with masked balls

Bumping for tonight's episode. First round 24 minature gateaux Basques and 24 minature tartes Tatin. Second round, the showstopper, is Battenberg dessert (rather different from the well known Battenberg cakes) and someone accidentally breaks one.

 

The Radio Times says "the remaining teams" on one page and "a new set of pÃĒtissiers" on another page. Assuming this series is the same format as last year, then it's the second set of 6 new teams.
