Are any other iPad/iPhone users having problems with the black “Cookie Settings” Box covering the Sign In/Menu Box at the top left hand corner of the page. I’m having problems signing in and accessing PMs and Alerts.

It isn’t a problem on my laptop as the Sign In Box is on the right hand side.

If you’ve got a Like, it will be from me.

I’ll add @Lori to this thread and see if she can help us. *fingers crossed*

Good thing you pulled me in! I just set this up today, and didn't think about testing on the iPad or phone. Give me a few minutes to see if I can sort this out.

Be right back!

I like it even less now

what's wrong?

It's just a distraction Lori, cos after you've accepted the cookies the settings are neither here nor there. You can't do anything with them just delete them in your own settings every so often. I know, I'm moaning again

Understood.

It's GDPR policy to leave it on there, but I might be able to work out a slightly different method. I'm gonna need some time (and bandwidth) for that, though...

Never tried those. I do like chocolate digestives.

Please try them - tomorrow - go buy some

Lori, how about making the ability to accept or reject cookies part of the log in process? That way, everyone has the ability to change their minds without seeing the black box all the time.

I’ve got two sons visiting tomorrow so I don’t think they’d appreciate that

 Might be worth a try

That would require a change to the software. This is just an add-on that we're using, to help us comply with GDPR.

The way that I understand GDPR (and I have done a lot of work on it) is that you just wave a few notices in front of people, you prove that you have done so ... then you carry on as before.

A bit like the Millennium Bug really ... lots of hot air resulting in ... nothing!

I've accepted them I just want the box to go....yet another thing to clutter up the page

I accepted too but ‘cookies settings’ is till on my iPad

The box was over the Sign In/Menu but Lori has moved the box to the bottom now.

Lori said it is GDPR policy to leave it on the page.

But she's looking at a workaround
