I've been reading about WW2 heroines

And we moan about our lives now

It's true Baz - there's so much we don't know but should be grateful for

I remember "Carve her name with pride" a movie about a WW2 heroine

There should be more - there must be so many untold stories

I loved that film ....in fact I won a prize for reviewing it when I was in senior school Very , very brave woman

The irony

There have been comments about this all over Twitter ever since the attack. Trump also posted a number of tweets attacking Obama at the time, and they've been retweeted repeatedly.

I'm sure you won't be surprised to learn that this isn't the first time Trump's been caught out by a hypocritical tweet - as various online Trump critics point out, "There's a Trump tweet for every occasion"...

I'm sure some of you already knew this, but it was news to me...

I've just been watching a recording of the very first episode of "Monty Python", which includes the "Funniest Joke In The World" sketch:

[This version from "And now for Something Completely Different"]

The German translation used in the sketch is actually a nonsense phrase, but is officially given as:

"Wenn ist das NunstΓΌck git und Slotermeyer? Ja! Beiherhund das Oder die Flipperwaldt gersput!"

Now: if you put that into Google Translate, it triggers an Easter Egg: instead of the German translation, you get:

[FATAL ERROR]

Google Translate: Funniest Joke in the World!
