According to the news....

Cars put out 129g  CO2 per km

Buses put out 101g CO2 per km

Cycles put our 0g CO2 per km....

On the other hand they don’t say how much CO2 a cyclist puts out per km

 Can you appeal it?

Yes we are going to say it was for medical reasons as my Mum can make emergency stops and ask to use a toilet. We referred them onto our GP and medical supplier who gave us a disabled toilet key pass.

Fingers crossed

Thanks Baz + Yogi ... the real reason is the queue for Subway (in the petrol station) was massive and my Mum had the munchies LOL

MrY would consider the munchies as an emergency situation

A genuine conversation i had many times with my Dad.

Dad: Are we going to stop for something to eat?

Me: Why are you hungry?

Dad: It's dinner time

Me: Oh right - are you hungry?

Dad: Not really but it's dinner time and i want my dinner ... and not some sandwich, I want to sit down with a knife and fork.

. . . he would say on the motorway

My son wanted 4 meals a day, breakfast, dinner,  tea and supper, if he only had 1 meal by teatime he had to fit 3 in before bedtime !

If I ate between meals my Dad often said,

"So - is this your dinner or your tea?"

Sad to say Sainty but it’s probably better and cheaper in the end, to pay the fine
