Another good result for Cheltenham Town this afternoon - Plymouth 0 Cheltenham 2. Cheltenham are at present 3rd position in League 2, their best start for some years (far too early in the season to start talking of promotion). Next match is next Saturday when they are at home to Crewe who are currently in 2nd position.

that is seriously cute
night everybody had our coffee morning in church for choir 2 - the Vera Lynn songs went down well and most joined in
Good morning everyone it's very humid which is a little surprising after the cold nights we've had recently. I'm glad the old songs went down so well Ros, I thought they would be popular. Nice that everyone joined in as well.
Enjoy your day everyone
Good morning everyone
Cloudy here, some rain earlier and a band of heavier rain forecast to pass over sometime this mornng, 93% humidity, so rather humid.
Ros, I'm glad your Vera Lynn songs themed coffee morning went well
I hope everyone has a good day
Back home from church without getting soaked by the rain.
I normally do my Co-op shopping on a Tuesday but did some yesterday. Locally Tuesday's forecast is bad and a yellow warning for rain has already been made by the Met Office. Could get a good inch of rain (some places could get closer to 3 inches). This coming week is forecast to be really unsettled. Will impact on the final round of 4 day cricket matches which start tomorrow.
The top 3 teams in Division 2 get promoted to Division 1. Lancashire already promoted.
Northamptonshire are in 2nd place on 181 points, Gloucestershire in 3rd place on 176 points and Glamorgan in 4th place on 160 points. 2 of those 3 will get promoted.
Points are 0 to 5 batting points, 0 to 3 bowling points, 16 for a win, 8 for a tie, 5 for a draw or no result.
Intriguingly Gloucestershire are at home to Worcestershire and Durham (in 5th place) at home to Glamorgan. Glamorgan have to win to have any chance of promotion (or a tie, maximum batting & bowling points and Gloucester get no points which is unlikely).
El Loro posted 18/9/18That strange ad from Apple during Bake Off last evening with various sweets all over the place - I think it may be something to do with the code names they've used in previous versions but have dropped it for the new version. Could be wrong though.
I was wrong about that ad being something to do with code names.
Here's the advert on Youtube:

You may want to use the Settings icon under that clip and select a lower playback speed so that you can make out what the things being thrown around are.
I think there may be a baby toy giraffe in it
What I had been thinking of was the various Android version code names:

Good afternoon a mild, pleasant day here. We had some rain overnight but no sign of the storm that was forecast.
How are you all today?
El, it warms my heart when humans help out our beauties of nature, thank god thereâs some kind people in the world
Summer, it's raining here, quite light at present but is expected to get heavier. Tomorrow's forecast is the sort of day when you only go out if you have no choice.
Evening all
Summer, Iâm glad you had a good weekend
Vekvet, sorry to hear about the driving licence.
Ros, it sounds like the Vera Lynn songs were a big success
El, it restores my faith in human nature when I read stories like the stag one
Squiggle, I hope the rain stayed off for you
Goodnight and sweet dreams, everyone
Hug for any night owls
night yogi summer moons if you pop in
Good morning everyone it's cloudy again this morning and we did get quite a bit of rain, my grandson got caught in it. Heartwarming story about the stag rescue.
Enjoy your day everyone
Good morning everyone
Has been raining here, very dark clouds overhead, more rain to come.
Squiggle, I hope your grandson didn't get soaked
I hope everyone has a good day
Rain has stopped for the time being here though more is forecast later.
Humidity here is 94% which is very high for the time of day.
Little surprise that the cricket at Bristol, where Gloucestershire have their match, was severely curtailed by the weather yesterday and no play so far today.
In today's post was a birthday card. Although my address, it wasn't my name. As I didn't know if it was a joke (the name was unusual) I carefully opened it to find it was a birthday card to someone's nephew. No-one I knew, no-one with that surname in my road according to the 192 site. So I sealed the envelope, wrote "not known at this address" and put it back in the post box (along with the ÂĢ10 note which was with the card). No postcode on the envelope so it will be difficult to track down who should have received it.
It was a busy day. I hope you have all had a good day, despite the heavy rain.
Goodnight and sweet dreams, everyone.
Hug for any night owls
night yogi summer moons if you pop in
Good morning everyone it's a dry morning so far but still very overcast.
Enjoy your day everyone
Good morning everyone
Rained here during the night, dry and cloudy now, some more rain is forecast this mornng but not as much as yesterday.
I hope everyone has a good day
A boa constrictor trapped at a basement entrance in a road near Gloucester park has been rescued by a "snake whisperer" who stroked it under the chin so that it relax and be extracted, It's thought it had been adandoned and it's been taken to a local pet shop.
ITV3 are repeating "Five Little Pigs" tonight at 8. I rate that Poirot episode as the best of all of them. Television drama of the highest quality.
And superb use of this:
I should also mention Christopher Gunning's music for "Five Little Pigs" which is very effective, the production values which although limited being a TV drama almost lift it to cinematic quality, and most of all:
Rachael Stirling's acting
Evening all
Been Out and about today.
El, I like that episode of Poirot too and I thought youâd enjoy Rachel Stirlingâs performance
Goodnight and sweet dreams, Ros
Hug for any night owls
night yogi summer moons if you pop in
Good morning everyone
Rained overnight here, sunny at present, might get some rain during the daytime but not much.
Yogi, I recorded "Five Little Pigs" last night. I always allow extra time before and after the scheduled time - just as well as it started a couple of minutes early. Watched the opening scene just before switching over to Masterchef. That opening scene in itself shows this is a standout episode of Poirot.
Taking my car in this morning for MOT and service. Getting the fuel cap lock system replaced as it's 17 years old and getting trickier to unlock.
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning everyone, a cloudy morning here, quite menacing black clouds so I think rain is on the cards. I hope all goes well with the MOT EL.
Enjoy your day everyone
Thanks Squiggle I know it will cost more this time than last year as there are a couple of things to be done as part of the service which I had already told them about. I'm not aware of anything hugely expensive though.
Looks as if Glamorgan have given up hope of beating Durham a short time ago as the BBC site are showing the match as drawn. The weather has hit most of the 4 day matches being played this week. ~Durham playing at home were still to complete their first innings and Glamorgan yet to bat. Glamorgan would have had to win to get promotion which would require Durham to declare now, Glamorgan forfeit their first innings, Durham to forfeit their second innings and for Glamorgan to score over 262 runs in their second innings - there is no reason for Durham to do that.
Means that Gloucestershire and Northamptonshire get promoted to Division One - that match has been also badly hit by the rain. Whether they play today isn't yet known - the first innings is yet to be finished so a draw is the most probable result anyway. They might play (depending on the weather) so that they and the fans can celebrate promotion together.
Since I posted above, the Gloucestershire/Northamptonshire match has been declared a draw.
