Nighty nite, sleep well, sweet dreams Yogi. I hope you get back to good health very soon

Moonie

Good morning everyone it's another lovely bright morning. Oh no Yogi that definitely doesn't sound good, how disappointing. Definitely get in touch with your consultant.

Enjoy your day everyone

Summer, I guess the cloud is low where you are which could make it feel humid.

Just returned from that client meeting which was straightforward as I expected, while I was there I started hearing a faint beeping noise coming from somewhere. The client couldn't hear anything but I could. After a couple of minutes it stopped. She said she was going to check if her 90 year old neighbour was OK as it could be that the beeping sound was from his house. He's recovering from 3 broken ribs after a fall and is suffering from dementia though rejects any help and his closest relatives are miles away.

Oh crikey, I hope he’s alright there El. Thank goodness his neighbour keeps an ear out for him.

Yes the cloud is low today, I think it’s forecast to be wet like this for a few days now

Yes, it's now started walking and is heading in your direction

False alarm, I misread the article, it's not a triffid and is staying still in Cambridge

Evening all

Tiddlers were on very good form

El, I hope your client’s 90 year old neighbour is okay.

Thanks everyone, no spasms today, thankfully. I’m going to phone the hospital tomorrow re the new meds not working.

I hope you’ve all had a good day

They were on good form. They’re coming on a sleepover on Friday, and another one next Tuesday.

Hi Yogi and Sweet

Glad you had a good time with the little ones Yogi. They brighten up anyone’s day

Good news about the lack of spasms today too 🙂

My day has been splendid fankoo

Moonie

Good morning everyone it's a little humid this morning but hopefully that will ease later on.

Thank goodness there were no spasms yesterday Yogi and you were able to have fun with the children.

That poor man EL, thankfully he has a caring neighbour.

Enjoy your day everyone

Good mornng everyone

Fairish weather here, rain forecast for early tomorrow morning. Not expecting the poor weather elsewhere.

Yogi, I'm glad you had a spasm-free day and were able to have a nice time with the children. I hope you can have a useful phone call re your new meds

Client meeting here this morning, likely to be quick and straightforward. She had to postpone the meeting a couple of weeks ago as she was suffering from emphysema. Although she doesn't smoke when she's here, it's obvious from her breath that that's the cause of her emphysema.

I hope everyone has a good day

Twickers, all is well here

The paper I ordered from Viking yesterday has just arrived - 5,000 sheets which will last for most of the rest of the year - as an accountant I do use quite a lot of paper as one would expect. The client I'm expecting should, in theory, be arriving in 3 minutes time.

My client arrived on time and the meeting was straightforward as I thought.
SHE would have paid me in cash but I prefer bank payment/cheque as I don't want to do cash business - not seen as appropropiate for accountants. Obviously normal and accepted for cash orientated businesses but not in the accountancy line of work.

Back to working on the 4 weeks of work which came in last week.

I see that Talking Pictures is showing a 1932 film called "Lena Rivers" early tomorrow morning. I did record it out of curiousity when it was shown before. I confess that I gave up after a few minutes of watching as I found it so antiquated as to be unwatchable. Apparently there are some (on IMDB) who think it's a very good film. It's an American film made by one of the lesser film studios which had low budgets and actors who weren't well known.

El Loro

I see that Freddie Jones has died, he was 91.

One of Britain's best known character actors appearing in many things over the years in over 200 television series and films over the years.. Toby Jones of course is his son.
