Squiggle, I'm glad your weather is a lot calmer than it was

Coming back from doing my routine shopping I stopped at a set of traffic lights behind a white van waiting to turn right. I noticed that the van's position was a bit crooked. When the lights turned green the van started off but I noticed that the brake lights came on just for a second. Van and I went on to a double mini roundabout. At the first roundabout one goes left or forward to the second. At the second one goes forward (my route) or turn right.

I was a bit wary of the van and rightly so. At the first roundabout (the van's indicator lights were correct) the van attempted to go round the roundabout to return the way it had come. But it didn't succeed. So it did a short reversal forcing me to reverse (luckily no vehicle behind me and I wasn't right behind the van) and then the van driver succeeded at the second attempt.

Bit more info the Tewkesbury water leak. The leak occurred in a 36" pipe, one of the major pipes there. It's under a field by a golf course which is flooded as it's so close to the river Severn. That's making it very difficult for the engineers. It sounds as if it's going to take quite some time.

It's dreadful. I think the McGonagall is Minerva, one of the characters in the books. One could be forgiven for thinking that it might be William, widely regarded as the worst poet in the Englsih language.

 Well, the collie part will be smart and the spaniel part with be energetic.

Yes I think she’ll be a bundle of energy lol my friend has been through some terrible depression these last couple of years though so I do think this pup could bring her a new lease of life

Keira is okay, and her hearing has returned a little bit.

Her skin is a lot better but not completely clear, so she had another bath in her special shampoo today.

I’ve got the kids on a sleepover Mon/Tues so I definitely need a lazy day

That’s a Yogi-ism  

So far, two Aussie soccer matches. Now on an Italian match. Bologna v Juventus. Currently 0-0 after 15 minutes. Two more Aussie matches to follow  

Moonie. I know it's a Yogi-ism but it's perfect to describe the weather here, gloomy, damp, and the dampness making it feel colder. i was right about you finding lots of football to watch

I know it's been on the news but if you've missed it the water in Tewkesbury has been restored. The leak has yet to be mended, but Severn Trent have diverted the water through other pipes so that people get water.

Good evening grey, damp & cold here today. There’s still ice on the ground but I was careful when out walking. 

Ive had a long lay in, and just pottered around.
