Evening guys. Smiler

"plus ça change, plus c'est la mÊme chose", as they say. Wink
(or at least they would do if they spoke French. Big Grin)

Nice new forum. Bit plain? But nothing wrong with that. Cool
I see dja called in to the CH4 HOOT forum, so I left a signpost for him (or anyone else). Smiler
It'll only work till noon tomorrow though. Frowner

I'll PM boldjohn, just in case he wants to join in. Smiler

A lovely sunny day with me, so lots of work.

I see you've made a subtle change to your name mollie?
Is that to get higher up the alphabetical pecking order, or sumfink? Big Grin

Hicky. When you first mentioned getting flags for your garden, I thought you meant of the 'all nations' variety, but I see now you meant stone flags (I think?). Big Grin

I'll away to watch the Apprentice, but I'll be back later. Smiler

Yes, our local B and Q is busy on 10% dicount days, but you may as well take advantage of your discount. Did you mange to avoid the beefburger van today ? Big Grin

Darloby...I bet you are watching the football tonight. Big Grin My OH has just gone upstairs to watch it, whilst I watch Coronation Street.

Hi Mollie.Smiler
I got all the Flags I needed, plus some new curtain rail/pole thingy, couldn't resist the Burger van, lovely grub.

Ended up being a flag short, also wanted a gardening fork, big one, so went back to B&Q, also got some organic non peat compost for my veg, when I was unloading the Landrover I dropped the flag and it broke, so i'll have to get another one now.

Had you heard they were closing down?

Where have you been posting lately, haven't seen you in the normal places.

It's hard to believe that they are closing the lot down.

Blimey, that was quick dja. You almost beat me in here. Big Grin How's it going? Smiler

The Apprentice was good, but what a load of numpties they were, especially that Philip. Roll Eyes
I think the right one got fired though. Maybe not in that task, but we've hardly seen Noorul do anything.

Hi mollie
I had a good day, I did some grass cutting, did some pruning. I even did some painting. Big Grin
I was repainting a window box. Smiler

If you want to try a bit of 'techy' stuff mollie? Right click on this - .

Noorul got fired darloboy.
Philip's team won, but I can't remember if that was 'Ignite' or 'Empire'. Big Grin

They were given 10 items, which they had to value, then sell. Some of the items were rubbish, but an antique rug was the most valuable at ÂĢ200, but neither team realised that, and thought it was a bit of old tat. Big Grin Both teams sold their rugs for about ÂĢ50. Roll Eyes

Both teams made an overall loss, but Ben's team made the bigger loss.

Well they were both on the winning team tonight, so no backstabbing. Big Grin

I think the contestants are getting more argumentative in the boardroom this year. They keep shouting over each other. Frowner

Is it my imagination, or have we been constricted a bit? Glance

Good morning all Smiler
Been busy this morning, but just got chance to pop on our old C4 thread to say goodbye to it.

Dja...lovely to see you here. Smiler Hope you stay around.

Emptybox.. thanks for the rose, I will see if I can work it later when I get chance. Smiler

Yes Emptybox, the boardroom, seems to be where it all happens this year. What a numpty is that Philip. After last night, I think Lorraine stands a chance of winning this, it will of increased her confidence to speak up... EekerI couldn't believe the naughty stories of her I read about in the paper on Sunday though. She doesn't look the type. Big Grin

Hicky.. I thought you woulodnt be able to bypass the burger van at B and Q. Big Grin

Wonder if we may get a new prime minister if they vote against GB's expenses thingie today? I read if they do vote against it, it could be curtains for GB, because there is someone waiting to jump in , and oust him, and if so, we may have a general election. Glance

catch you later...
think I will pay a final visit to C4.

Good Afternoon Mollie.Smiler

It looks like the C4 threads closed at 12.00.

I was getting some work done in the garden on my new veg patch but it started to rain.

Just going out for a meal, O/H fancies a Pub meal, BOGOF.

Can't see them holding an election of MP's expenses, they voted for everything they get themselves, there's noone else to blame, they sign their own cheques.Big Grin
Hicky
Hi Hicky...
Good job it started to rain, if it gets you out for lunch instead. Big Grin
Hope you enjoy it, and if it is on BOGOF, you can't go far wrong.

When I read about what those MP's can claim on expenses, it makes me fancy the job myself. Big Grin

Still raining here today, so it is tumble drier at the ready.

Yes, I visited C4 at the last hour. Frowner Closed dead on noon.

Hi Mollie.Smiler
Had a lovely meal out, I had Beef Sizzler with Rice and Salad, with Butterscotch & treacle Pud with Custard.

Then went to B&Q for some more stuff, got a wall mounting winder for the garden hose, 4 big bags of Manure for the veg's, and some more growing medium.
Some more small flags for the side of the veg plot.

Just made some Shortbread fingers, not bad either, O/H likes them anyway.

It's stopped raining now, everywhere was flooded this afternoon, all the drains are blocked, they haven't been cleaned out for ages probably.

Going to finish that curry off that we had last night, can't bear to waste it.

Not much on the TV tonight is there?

Hi Darloboy.Smiler
Had a great day really, just a pity it started raining, it put me off my stride, I was going to get a lot more done in the garden, I can get a bit more done but will have to carry on at the weekend.

I'm building a raised veg bed so it takes a lot of compost to fill it, it's about .3mtr high by 1mtr x 3mtr

Well I haven't got the plants yet, just trying to get the ground ready to receive them, i'll get the plants from the local garden center, mind you it's still a bit early to plant in case we have more cold weather.
