I've accepted them I just want the box to go....yet another thing to clutter up the page

I accepted too but ‘cookies settings’ is till on my iPad

The box was over the Sign In/Menu but Lori has moved the box to the bottom now.

Lori said it is GDPR policy to leave it on the page.

Thanks Yogi

But I don’t see the point

It’s all to do with the new regulations about Cookie policies. Lori is going to see if there is a way to remove the box after we have accepted but it might take her a wee while

OK, I think I've done it. If you remove that blasted Cookie Settings badge, you have to have a link to your cookie policy, and a way for someone to change their mind. I've now added that in the menu. So, you'll be prompted the first time you come, and anytime you appear to have changed your cookie settings, but otherwise, you won't be bothered.

Let me know if you have any problems with the cookie thing.

Also: NOW I want cookies...or biscuits...

And if some Yankies hadn't got angry about some barrels of tea … it would have been 'biscuit' settings by now and thus much more pleasant.

And there would be no guns, no Trump, no gangsta rap, no attitude-y Beyoncé that auto correct gives an inflection over the last 'e' of her name like she's Frenchy-fied or something.

Michael Jackson would have been declined another nose job on the NHS, the Statue of Liberty would be of Queen Victoria and Thatcher would have stopped people like Jimmy Hoffa.

Other than that well done Lorry

Thatcher became PM 11 February 1975
Jimmy Hoffa disappeared 5 months later on 30 July 1975

You're too generous, Yogi.

No cookies--had to console myself with a piece of the cherry pie that Mr. Lori made.
