A couple of days ago, one of my work colleagues took the Mickey because he saw me using a paper copy of the Radio Times instead of looking up programme details online. For those who don't already know: the 4-part dramatization of the Hatton Garden safe deposit robbery that was planned to run on ITV over 4 nights this week (and which I was looking forward to after reading about it in the current RT   ) has been postponed until next year. As yet, no reason has been given for the delay...

ITV's Hatton Garden heist drama starring Timothy Spall is postponed

It's being replaced from Monday to Thursday (9-10pm) by another new drama; "Bancroft" (which apparently was originally only going to be broadcast on ITV Encore). From the *ahem* online ITV guide:

Sarah Parish ('W1A') and Faye Marsay ('Game of Thrones') star in this brand new four-part thriller about a female detective with a dark past. Detective Superintendent Elizabeth Bancroft (Parish) is leading the charge against the violent Kamara gang, while DS Katherine Stevens (Marsay) is given the Laura Fraser cold murder case to investigate. Elizabeth and Katherine's paths soon cross as Katherine finds there is more to the Fraser case than it seems, while Elizabeth finds her past catching up with her and increasingly difficult to hide.

You are not alone, Eugene, I always buy a physical copy of the Christmas TV guide.

I am going to record Bancroft but I wonder why the Hatton Garden drama has been postponed until 2018?
