Especially if Oti is still dancing in the show. I thought that would be a conflict of interest.
Motsi was a judge on the German version of Strictly when Oti was one of the pro dancers so the producers believe she has already shown she can be unbiased.
Kevin is Len’s godson and he judged him.
I think it leaves Strictly open to calls of bias/fix so it would have been sensible to choose someone else, imo.
same here yogi - there must have been other experienced people they could have chosen - fix will be called straight away if Oti appears to get a higher mark than she should against a possible fave - so many permutations which could cause/ lead to hassle and accusations of fix - silly to appoint her IMO
