The poor people who have lost their jobs aside, this is a badly run company, in massive debt, that has been in trouble for years with directors and senior staff taking massive salaries (in one case £8 Million).
It was clearly on a trajectory to failure and I think it was the right decision not to pump public money into it.
Again, one of the elements which has contributed is people using on-line tour operators and TC failed to react.
This is just another in a long line of businesses that have gone bust and there will be more to come.
Isn't there a Gov body that regulates and monitors how businesses are run?
