Even if the adverts don't appear on the iPhone app, it is possible that the coding does include the coding lines for these adverts. Some of the adverts which appear do require Flash Player (such as the Google Chrome one and the StopZilla one), others don't. This would then explain the intermittent nature of this problem. Let's hope the update this week fixes this.

(in Firefox, right click on the advert comes up with a menu, on some there is an option "About Flash Player...", on other ads, no such option).
