If you’ve clicked on the free trial by mistake, just email them and they should sort it out for you.

I use Amazon, but not often enough to justify Prime membership, and I've been very annoyed in the past about how easy Amazon make it to sign up for their "Free Trial" by mistake. 

 

I accidentally clicked on the "Free Trial" once, and found it a lot of hassle to find the right page to cancel from. (I was initially sent to a page which required my to print out the cancellation request and post it to them!  )

 

I eventually got the cancellation sorted out online, but I still had a whinge about it to my cousin, who uses Amazon a lot. She told me that she'd accidentally signed up for a Free Trial too, but had phoned them up (something I'd no idea you could do) and got it sorted immediately.

I don't have the number to hand, but from my cousin's experience it's probably worth looking into...

I’ve phoned them too (Not to cancel Prime) and they were very helpful
