I've gotten about a dozen of these emails from the same "person", over the last few weeks. The first one gave me a good laugh, and I reported it as "phishing" to our email provider. I just automatically report as phishing every time I get one.

When you block a person, they can no longer invite you to a private message or post to your profile wall. Replies and comments they make will be collapsed/hidden by default. Finally, you'll never receive email notifications about content they create or likes they designate for your content.
