Very young people have actually lifted a finger and done useful things.
Her name is Cynthia Sin Nga Lam, 17, from Australia, who invented a water purification system that doesn't require an external power source, there are others if you wish to look them up, around the same age as the puppet girl Greta Thunberg...these people actually do good things for the environment and doesn't talk nonsense about wanting to trash our way of life because she thinks the world will end otherwise.
If our journalists were mostly right wing (as you seem to think) why is she not getting any backlash or criticism? Maybe one or two newspapers are conservative leaning, but the rest of our written/broadcast media are in love with this girl and just parrots everything she says, as if it's true.
In the 80s environmentalists claimed that various countries would be under water by the year 2000, never happened, UN reports in the 90s said that the world will be beyond saving by 2015, never happened.
There's only so long these people can cry wolf and be believed.
