I have not seen any of the first series (strange for me as it is shot partly in my home city), but have recorded it all bar one episode. I have now decided to just buy the whole series on blu-ray along with the Christmas episode and binge watch.

Looks like the new doctor is generally getting a 'thumbs up'.
