Reply to "Darnell's Hotel (No Giraffes Allowed!)"

Afternoon Darnies Hope you've all been good in my absence We had a lovely time /tea at Kensington , and the weather was glorious ,  but the journey both ways was a nightmare On the way there they had closed part of the underground , so we had to detour to another station  , and we ended up  getting lost and walking miles ! Then on the way home there was an * incident/fatality * on the line ... so trains were getting cancelled left right and centre In the end our train was simply delayed , but we had to stop at lots more stations ( to accommodate as many as possible  of the travellers whose trains were cancelled ) . Added to this , as you can imagine , there were trains backed up all the way down the route , which meant a very long and wearisome journey !
