When it was first shown on television I and my parents started watching it. We gave up after about half an hour as it was boring - the film is about 3 hours long. It was directed by Joshua Logan who managed to drain any vitality out of the film. The original Broadway production had Richard Burton and Julie Andrews. Lancelot was played by Robert Goulet. So the Broadway production had Andrews and Goulet who were good singers.
I’m sure I’ve seen bits of Camelot but never watched it through.
