£80,00 donation received by Gloucester Cathedral for repair work to the part of the cathdral which includes the tomb of King Edward II.

The donation was given by the Wolfson Foundation. In the past that has given money for the establishment of Wolfson College, Oxford and Wolfson College, Cambridge. Teams from those two have been in University Challenge over the years. Possibly the best known contestant in recent years is Eric Monkman who was captain of the Cambridge team who got to the final i 2017. Wolfson College, Oxford got through to the next round on Monday's programme.
