Summer, I think some people would have realised that the internet and www would become huge. Science fiction writers did speculate on that years before it became a reality, for instance Murray Leinster's 1946 short story called "A Logic Named Joe".
Science fiction has such a wide spectrum as it includes anything from trivial (such as anything by E E Doc Smith) to very heavyweight (such as Olaf Stapledon's Star Maker). (books)
