Back from walking to and back from the local Co-op. I felt like walking there rather than driving though there were spots of rain.
There's a memorial service this afternoon in church for a churchgoer I knew slightly. I'm not going as I know from previous experience with memorial services done by the current vicar that they are long - somewhere between 1.5 and 2 hours spent mainly in sitting on uncomfortable wooded pew seats then going over to the church hall for refreshments. Starts at 2.15, people won't get back home much before 6. (the funeral service was some weeks ago).
