A spacecraft is ready to be launched in February - mission is to get up close to the Sun and to be able to do the most detailed research and photos yet. Also getting to look at the Sun's polar regions (the two opposite ends of the axis - similar to the Earth's axis for the North and South Poles but obviously extremely hot).
